Zeke just wants to kill Melon. He's finding any way he can to justify it to the rest of the room. No one wants to lynch Melon though, because she is a PR with info that pairs up with info from another PR. She also has the chance to hit Scum and both role block them and steal their kill, if I understand her role correctly. Why the fuck would anyone want to lynch her? The only person in the game who should want Melon dead is DCPat lol.
for us it does boggle the mind because lynch melon -> probable swamped NK -> :(

Lynch Melon to confirm Swamped -> Swamped dies anyway via NK -> Only thing that's been accomplished is two town players dead.

Unless DCPat wants to come forward with an Oscar worthy performance about how he's the Town Chat Maker, then yeah, there is no sense in trying to solve Melon and Swamped by lynching them. The Chat Maker is Scum, they know about Swamped, they've known about Swamped, they 100% just tried to kill Swamped. It's kind of obvious.

Gorlak is too hung up on game balance to think straight now. Who gives a fuck what team had which roles. It doesn't need to make complete sense, it just needs to make a sense, and a sense has been made. Just take it for what it is without questioning what Cabot would or wouldn't do with a game design, jesus christ.

Fantomas, i didn't save you cause you didn't read to me as a "necessary" voice for town early game. Which isn't to say your useless, just off what I had, and my history with Stu, he'd be a good voice and leader for us. One thing I'm proud of is how he ended up doing exactly that.

Not gonna lie, even if I wanted DCPat dead, I'd be convinced to do this first just to get rid of the noise.
Ever game im with I try to vote for him to die as soon as possible, regardless of in game factors.
Rememeber my terrible gambit just to see if I could get someone to make a train on him? Its cause of that.
I remember the day Chug died we talked a bit in private about the game since we were both out and said at most the game had two more days cause there was one more obvious scum member.

I honestly am sorry for my behavior Sophia. I added to an already stressful game more then I wanted, and i am intentionally annoying and get under people's skin but I always hope to only do it to a certain degree. I crossed it.
I am taking a break from the season of mafia so I can rethink my playstyle and treatment of players, and thankful you brought it to my attention, but I'm sorry it had to be you during this time while already going through so much.

Also I had no idea the claims were pissing people off. I mean...to the point of review threads. Someone brought up the fact I aplogize all the time out of game but i've only done that maybe once before in memory and that was cause of lanuage (usually it's language).
I mean I knew they were annoying, but just to the point no one knew if anything I ever said was true and if I was ever worth keeping around. Sucks cause when i wasn't doing gambit bsery I thought this was my strongest game read wise, but maybe that's just cause I was following the chunky town leader.
Woe is me. Good I'm off for awhile, seems I've dampened the game for lots of people for a long time.

There’s just a line between when it feels like someone is doing things with purpose and when it feels like trolling. If you want to attempt a gambit you should have an end game in mind and feel the means will justify the ends. Just lying about factors that don’t seem to do anything other than muddy the waters is generally going to be viewed as anti-town. Also, when it’s something you do every game it makes it less effective because everyone begins to assume you’re lying and thus both town and scum will be equally incredulous.

Eh, I think Coolest ends up helping if it comes down to it. Like he was on scum for 3 of the 4 games this time. Like I think Coolest would be more helpful in end game here then a few of the players still left.

My point was that Scum could easily consider Coolest to be hiding a PR behind his nonsense, so just because he wasn't killed in this game doesn't mean he won't be in the future.
Basically, I just think if someone is going to go out of their way to cause a scene and draw a bunch of attention, there should be a plan there. What reactions are you looking for in particular? Is it targeted at one person in particular, or is this supposed to be reading the entire room's reactions? What is going to make Scum out themselves during this? What is the risk/reward factor for hurting Town and helping Town?

If Brazil decides Melon is Scum here, then I could see some kind of path to victory opening up for DCPat. They would just need to lynch Malus and Z-Beat and have AB not track DCPat until he can kill him following the Swamped kill tonight, which is entirely possible considering people actually think DC is Town because Turmoil was, and because they all seem to like forgetting that he even exists.

DCPat needs four mislynches still. Melon being lynched would significantly raise his chances of not missing another kill, but that doesn’t buy him four mislynches. He can’t kill Gorlak for the next two nights. Zeke wouldn’t have Melon to tunnel on anymore. It’s not going to happen.

The worst part is that town could be in a good position to go another day with no kill if Melon doesn’t get lynched. Everyone thinks she used her power so DC might try for Swamped again. Then Melon could just use it on Swamped and there’s another night with no one dead. Zeke is doing everything he can to make sure that doesn’t happen though

She's a claimed PR. Probably the most powerful role in the game. And they want to lynch her because of theories about game balance? Because they don't like her being sketchy? What is she going to do from now until LyLo if she's been lying about this and isn't Town? Scum has her on their radar for a NK because of that role, no way a Neutral claims like that and puts themselves in the crosshairs before they can get their win condition.
