I don’t really get this reasoning from Saw. She’s recognizing that Muffin’s role has contradictions and doesn’t fit into the game, even if he is scum, and actually using that as a counterpoint.
His role doesn’t make sense at this point; just like Fran did, Muffin is claiming that his item gave him more shots AND removed his restrictions to do a full copy. It’s completely different from all other townie roles.

AB is definitely thinking this through the right way. Process of elimination is the only way to solve the game at this point. I’m very impressed with him this day phase
I'm happy that they finally realized how dumb it was to think AB was scum (mostly), there are so many mental hurdles you have to jump through to pin him as anything other than town's answer to retrieving items.

In everyone’s defense, sometimes AB does himself no favors when it comes to looking like scum. That’s just how he plays, and even he acknowledges that much. I remember when AB claimed and called out Muffin, in the Illuminati chat Ketkat was not believing it for a second and even went in on him in the game thread. But I remember how much he looked like scum during the entirety of TMBG, and he turned out to be Town.
Ket was taking the gun thing so literally lol The actual items never mattered in the slightest.

This was honestly tripping me up when someone pointed it out and I just had to assume that Wee had a way to get around it because I knew I got hit by that forced post. Knowing it was Fando makes so much more sense now.

Off-topic, but for some reason I just had the urge to go read through the entirety of the GoT/TMBG spec thread, and wow what a trip down memory lane that was lol.
I still think GoT was the best introduction to Mafia that I could have possibly had, that game had everything, and regardless of the aggression in the first few days being rough as hell and the high number of replacements, nothing has yet topped the feeling I had during/after the 4 day streak of GoG -> Blarg -> Monkey -> Meatwad all flipping Scum (though GoG was a neutral SK, she was still very anti-Town), with my own personal reads on Blarg and Meatwad helping to flip them, and my vote swap onto Monkey with 1 minute left sealing her fate.
I am honestly still embarrassed by my reads on Nicole and ET on the last day even though it was my first game, but it did teach me this extremely important lesson: Never let Nin make it to LyLo.

I went away to think about this, and now I have more response.
If Mao could force me, for instance, to use my role on N2 when I didn’t plan on it, then he does do a +1 role movement. Otherwise, it should be listed as a role redirect and not a role force. Because those are 2 different things.
not that that would stop a bastard game from having lies in a role flip, but it’s still an issue for understanding role usage, and therefore concluding things logically.
I still think it’s an error.

If he forced you to use your role when you had a shot, he would have just wasted your shot, if he forced you to use your role when you didn't have a shot then it would have failed because you didn't have an action.

I was told that "It gives you the power to gladiate as many players as you want." Maol's power was "choose 2 players with the command COMMAND:NAME1, NAME2 to force the first player to use their ability on the second player."
In my mind that either means A) I should have only thunderdomed Brazil or B) I would have been made to target Brazil alongside the other players
You can argue that the judgement makes sense if I was targeting players like a switcher (I don't think I was) but IMO Maol's command doesn't seem like it should be able to work with roles which inherintly target multiple people

What it boiled down to is that you got to choose as many players as you wanted, Maol could only affect target, not that number. You wanted to target 4 and he wanted to force you to target Brazil so the decision that was made was to RNG out one of the 4 you selected and Brazil took their spot.

I think Brazil's victory condition is to have 25 souls or whatever, right? So for him he just wants bodies on the floor.
Muffin has the standard Mafia one, so he needs both Brazil and Natiko dead to win.
And don't get me wrong, from the ground, I thought the same thing that Brazil would just get added with no subtractions but if you treat this situation like Geno is one of those shitty genies that will grant your wish in the worst way possible based on the exact wording then it makes sense.

Yeah, “does muffin commute” is the big night question.
His limitation is he can only use one copied ability. If he commutes, he can't vote steal (or kill) and if Natiko misses then Muffin is going to get called out regardless, they will probably assume he used his roleblock on Natiko now instead of Aeleus then.
