So, do you think Kyan and donna are scum? Sorian seemed convinced the gossipers were scum, but I am unsure. I do think it could be a neutral role, if there is more to it.

I am still leaning scum on Monkey/Stu right now, but otherwise my reads are a mess. I need to study up more.

I’m not sure. I haven’t gotten scum vibes from them, but it does seem kind of suspect. I really want to talk to them more. I was thinking about suggesting to grab one of us tonight, and we could show them how our power works, but I feel like scum could just kill one of us if we tried that.

Might of gone a bit hard in the thread so sorry about that when you walk into that. The reactions I got actually make me think I'm onto something though. The rac post and what Fanto is saying feel straight up disingenuous.

No, I think you are onto something. At the very least I think there are good odds that Fantozipped and Dr. Stu are both scum teams. I finished my reread of Fantomas' posts, and it raised some red flags.

I also agree that Pirate Bae/malus seem town. Something Kyanrute said makes me more confident about that.

I just don't know what is going on anymore. I was pretty sure that Bae/malus were town, but that chat access discrepancy is a really big question mark.

If Bae is scum, then the idea of Monkey being scum gets a lot weaker. On the other hand, I am not sure that scum!Bae would have said some of that stuff? Unless scum chat just works differently from our chat.

I'm falling deep into WIFOM territory right now.

That's reasonable. There are still so many unknowns right now. Lynching Baelus will certainly give more information. I'm just not sure what it would be.

Well, it'll tell us if that Team FatAbs green check is real or not. I also really can't see a world where Baelus and Dr. Stu are scum/scum. Maybe it's bussing, but this is kind of nuts for bussing. Scum is really running low on places to hide here. This flip is probably going to make it easier to narrow things down.

This Baelus read is really giving me trouble though. My gut still is telling me they're town, but my brain is tell me scum. Guess we'll see.

Someone already kind of tried to swing the pendulum to a Geno/Sparks kill if Baelus turns out to be town (Fanto? Maybe?) so keep an eye on that if town wants to go in that direction tomorrow because I think that's a super wrong call

I agree with you on the gut/brain read difference too. I know it is probably the right call, I just expect them to flip town.

I am getting prepared to accept that my reads are complete trash this game though. Not that that is something I am not used to.

Okay, so Pirate Bae/malus were scum after all. Man, my reads this game have been complete garbage. Nothing but trash. Ugh. I don't even know where to start now.

Does this mean AbsoluteFat are scum? Seems unlikely, but it might be worth pressing there. Dr. Monkey is looking a lot better, but that means we burned two days on town vs. town stuff.

I think I'm going to need to sort through the low-activity posters for new leads.

This narrows things down a bunch. I doubt that Coolest role is fake, Monkey/Stu have to be town, Fanto/Zipped are probably town, Kyan/Donna and Geno/Sparks are probably good also as well as Nat/Terra. Fat/AB feel decently townie as well.

Right, we still need to send a mail to someone. I am honestly not sure what we could send right now that would be useful. Any reads I want to discuss I would rather talk about in the thread.

We could try organizing some sort of gambit, but that sounds just plain like a bad idea.

We could mail our reads to someone in case we get night-killed, but I think scum would rather leave us as a lynch option as things stand. This is the most prudent choice, I suppose, though someone will probably take it as an excuse to scum read us.

Finally, there is just being silly. Oddly appealing at this stage.

Yeah, that’s kind of what I’m thinking too. Any reads I’ll just say in the thread, and we’re not getting night killed because we probably look quite appetizing to scum as a way to set up a mislynch. There’s a time and a position for gambits and we’re really not in one. Like I’m honestly thinking just sending something dumb is our best play here. Either that or just not mailing anything

Mail: Zippedpinhead and Fantomas

  • Total: 70 mins
  • Prep: 45 mins
  • Cook: 25 mins
  • Yield: 10 servings or 18 balls
Ingredients
  • 3 cups of prepared macaroni and cheese, may be from a box or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce, plus more for serving
  • 3 cups of Flamin Hot Cheetos, crushed
  • 1/2 cup of Panko Breadcrumbs
  • About 2 pints of canola oil or other light oil
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • Blue cheese dressing
Steps to Make It
  1. Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the box directions or your own recipe.


  2. Mix in the tablespoon of hot sauce until completely combined. Add more hot sauce if you want for even spicier fried mac and cheese!


  3. Place the prepared macaroni and cheese in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, until cooled.


  4. Remove the macaroni and cheese from the refrigerator and using an ice cream scoop, form balls of the macaroni and cheese. Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat until all of the macaroni and cheese has been formed into balls. Place the balls into the freezer for about 3 hours or until completely hardened.


  5. In a food processor blend the Cheetos until they are crushed. Mix in the bread crumbs and about 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper. Place in a shallow bowl and set aside.


  6. Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven or other heavy bottomed pot to 375 F.


  7. Add the flour and about 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper to another shallow bowl and set aside.


  8. Beat the eggs along with the milk and about 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper in a shallow bowl.


  9. Remove the balls from the freezer. Dip the balls in the flour and roll to completely cover. Shake off the excess and then dip into the egg mixture and roll to completely cover. Then dip into the Cheetos mixture and roll to completely cover. Repeat with all of the macaroni and cheese balls.


  10. Place 3 to 4 balls into the hot oil and fry on all sides until they are golden brown for a total of about five minutes. Drain on a paper towel lined plate and repeat with the remaining balls. Serve with extra hot sauce and blue cheese dressing.

The trick is to never proofread.

Anyway beside the 3 teams I mentioned keep a look out for NatForce. I think they're the least likely of those teams to be scum, and being on Baelus early gives them some good town cred, but I've had this weird feeling about this team from early in the game, they don't feel quite on the same page as the other teams

I read over Xbro and Reki. It can be hard to get a good read on the two, due to their relatively few posts. These notes are mostly for my own reference.

Xbro:
Hopped between bandwagons day 1
Didn't vote at all day 2
Mostly sticks to game mechanic discussion
Hammered the vote on day 3

Reki:
Didn't vote at all day 1
Most asks newbie questions and talks game mechanics
Voted absolute last minute Day 2 defensively at partner's suggestion (when? Xbro wasn't around)
Was kinda defensive on day 3
Left an early vote all day day 3

I'm getting some scummy vibes, but they did press Pirate Bae on day 2.

So, while I think Stan/Panda still need to be in the conversation about who scum is, I'm feeling weirdly better about Stan here compared to the alarm bells going off from Xbro/Reki today.

I kinda think one of the claimed PRs could be scum. Fantomas' lack of results is a touch suspicious, and the Bookie Bears could be made up. At the same time, they could have walked into outing lies if they were reckless with those claims.

I think we probably have a neutral pair in the game. Maybe it is the number and strange arrangement of power roles this game, but something feels off.

He said he would explain what he was testing once night actions were locked and told me that the gossip chat usually stays open for like an hour after night actions are locked, but I got kicked out back here within 10 minutes which makes me wonder if they died. He told me specifically not to mention this stuff in the thread and only to tell you also, so let's play it close to the chest for now. I'm still pretty sure they're town

And yeah, I'm not happy about how that Reki and Xbro stuff played out at all. That was some nonsense and didn't help us at all

Yeah. I would say that it would be a gutsy play to green check your own scummate, but gutsy plays seems to be Pirate Bae's modus operandi.

I really hope Kyan and donna are still alive though, or else we might have trouble holding off the lynch brigade gunning for us.

Something just kind of popped into my head. Would a Coolest/NatForce team be too out there? I don’t think this is super likely, but if AB somehow doesn’t flip scum this might be something to think about.

Yeah, if we leave town to trying to figure out AB/Nat again tomorrow, they’re probably screwed. This stuff about our flip giving them the most information is nonsense and it’s going to bite them. If we just blow up here, it could very well cost town the game and I don’t want to do that.

Panda is screaming scum to me. I feel like I’m in nonsense land because Nats argument actually looks really good to me compared to Panda.

I'm actually warming up to Stan/FEPs as possible town, and drifting back towards absolutebro as possible scum. Those reads donna quoted from abs are suspect in hindsight, while I can interpret FEPs trying to provoke us as a town ploy. He backed off oddly easily once I mentioned the PM though, so I can't follow his thinking.

Pandas has been weird all game. I think they saw the writing in the wall and decided to do something drastic. We’re going to be scum read tomorrow, but at least we finally have something townie to point to as a defense.

Vere and Apollo are confirmed town.

Dr. Stu, Fanto/Zipped, and the gossips were all really important in that Baelus flip and that gives them town cred still.

Coolest and Lone have been on scum when they needed to be on scum.

And that just leaves Team Stan and Team Nat. I still think Team Stan is the most likely out of those two. If the game isn’t over yet, we kill them both. Hell, they could kill us in the middle and we would still win. It feels weird to be this confident after that nonsense, but I think this game is as good as won.
