If Vere manages to not invite any scum he's probably scum himself. Iirc I have played in a game with a scum aligned gossip before.
Also I'm coming around to scum!Zeke. Not enough truffleshuffle in the game thread. He's probably using it all up in scum chat.

I am the only possible link to a scum Vere claim hunting and I was gonna die anyway. If it was cult, there'd have been a sign. Vere is fine.
I may be in full-on "bitch eating crackers" mode with Zeke, but:
-he doesn't follow up with this. He shades Vere and Kyan for being interested in Mao's power (only one of them is directly asking for there to be a vig today, btw) but doesn't follow up on it. There are a few small posts before this, but this is the one where he actually calls them scummy but then he drops out. When he reappears, it's to shade Aeleus for not revealing what the handcuffs do. So that's three people shaded, seeds of their scumminess planted for other people to pick up on and run with. Zeke's not doing it himself.

But of all people he should have the most idea there's a chance of something else and seeing him shade everyone for vague things but not acknowledge that vague thing is telling.

Also later he's all "sure, kill feps and Stan." Does he actually have scum reads or does he just want people to die? I think he just wants people to die. Shading the loud people that he can get away with shading, not standing in the way of any kills... survey says mafia.

Kalor being a vote wagon made by scum Sorian should disqualify him from scum reads and I don’t get town that are doing scum reading him. The Terra vote was right there and Sorian decides to move vote off of town Terra onto scum Kalor to make EoD scum/scum because why?

I still don't understand the Scum Kalor read here very much? Is it just based on his role claim? I would argue there are still better targets alive that didn't have known Scum literally trying to create another counter wagon to their partner on them on D2, but I would also like to assume everyone has taken that into consideration already...
But now they're looking at that wagon and how it was town - while forgetting that, mathematically, MUCH OF THE GAME WAS TOWN AT THAT POINT.

Scum Sorian decided to abandon the vote on town Terra to start hard pushing his scum buddy instead of literally anyone else while another of his scum buddies is already a leading wagon just because why not.

I feel like where this game goes wrong a lot is people look for reasons someone is scum instead of reasons someone is town. Everyone is going to do something that appears to be really scummy at some point because that’s just how it goes. You’re going to defend someone you shouldn’t have, go after someone you shouldn’t be, or claim something at a bad time, that’s just how it goes.
Stuff that makes someone town is a lot harder to fake, and from what I can tell it’s a lot more reliable to look for that stuff than scummy stuff. Like there’s stuff that happens in the game that just straight doesn’t make sense if that person is scum, and it’s a lot easier to rule players out as “Can’t be scum”
I don’t know, maybe this is bad advice, but it’s usually my thought process, and I think it’s why I’m better at late game.

Keep in mind in here there have been some spoilers and hints that have helped shape thoughts along the way. Town is on auto-pilot with low engagement which is a valid criticism, but they have had more players to consider with less hints so it's not always as clear cut.

The coolest ending to this game would be if Wee was Scum, isn't a Medium, and Fran and her have just been colluding together to confuse Spec Chat.
Or the ending where Ketkat was the Scum Bomb Defuser and shot her partner FEPs for Maximum End Game Town Cred.
Or the ending where Verelios is a Secret Cult Leader and none of the recruits know about it until they win when the Cult is the only faction left.
Those are my fanfic endings for this game.

They are posting the very evidence they should be using and not looking at it and that's a cyclical issue. A perpetual endgame problem. And spec needs to talk about those issues because spec can see them happening, in the hopes of breaking the cycle.
I mean, from a pure logic standpoint, abandoning the Terra vote for anything at that point was negative for my team which is why I commented on scum chat multiple times that I was dancing on knives. But hey, if the sub optimal play is causing this much issue then mission accomplished :P

But I think the crux of the argument - scum were leading so they wouldn't push a second scum wagon - is flawed because that exact thing has happened numerous times lol The problem is most players are checked out and not building a case in general, not that one piece of evidence is or isn't being appreciated.
I'm not disagreeing with you - that was my very point in that they are pulling out all the details they need on different things and then not actually attending to them. It's late game, they're tired, there were a lot of replacements, etc. But you gotta dig in and not let go.
