Yeah that's really weird, Launch would know about his shot. I guess maybe they want to save it one more night?

Weird play to not off Terra now for the Vig shot, I feel like that is the best play for them to make, and I'm not sure I can think of a reason to not do that.

Yeah I dunno. Stu kills the secret chat, but that’s still a weird thing to do. Oh well. They can deal with a few weird moves I guess

There are no more unknown PRs so yeah everyone else is going to be vanilla or scum.

Like this shit

I had a theory that scum!Geno did his call-out of scum!Sparks to provide scum!Sparks some waist-high cover of "LOW-HANGING FRUIT!!! LEAVE SPARKS ALONE" to coast behind as your scum teammate

Then you outright allege to Town-clear both Maol and Uzzy... and you also say you Town-cleared Mr. Hedin the very Night that he died / apparently got Strong-killed... did scum!you pay him a visit that Night, did you kill him and this is your claim-cover?

But I'm being torn apart Geno because a player who randomly gets Confirmed Town names via mod PM at Night, only gets stronger as a piece in play as the player-pool shrinks; I'm guessing what you haven't told us, is that you stop getting results by a certain Day/point in the game, to nerf you for balance

Your Role seems believably balanced if not balanceable beside my Role; yet I don't know how to parse you allegedly not knowing that I had Role-claimed an Investigator-type before you...

And then you claim to have randomly received already-Town-Terra as a CLEAR last Night as Town... what a safe aim, how convenient, to the point it makes you look scummier too

hmph

This is a really good post that no one is going to listen to because credibility is just blown into oblivion.

Still taking his advice to Jman to heart I see.

Yep, say you screwed up and come out with that, it's the only way really.

Blarg needs to make better fake reds.

This isn't even about being right. It is about maximising the power of the fake. If you are only faking to get a lynch then it is bad play beyond the lie. Red check someone who is being town read and going to get you some reactions. Everyone will pile on a fake red like nin and even if he was scum you learn nothing. If they still believed him they would jump on Sparks.

No, MrHedin isn’t the type of player who would hold onto his vest.

Come on someone question Launch on this. Like I played one game with him which was costume and I was killed on N2 with no PR, like that is a very declarative statement there.

I love Salvas logic:
Geno has confirmed four town with no end in sight, so Scum would obviously kill Stu to throw shade on Geno instead of outright killing him.

Oh, and if anyone wants to know Stan's scum tell it's that he always starts fading hard into the background late game when he's scum.

Launch is a very impressive Scum player for sure. He fooled everyone in Mario, even Spec Chat, and I think here the only people giving him side-eyes were me and Monkey lol.

And another correction, Maol was totally on to him in Mario, just remembered that lol.

Still though, Launch is great as Scum, he's super talkative and sneaky. I feel like the best case I could have made against him in this game was just based on "vibes" and such.

Also I can’t really can’t blame the Blarg doubt, but a good sign that you’re about to fuck up a kill is when the person is putting in work like what Blarg is doing while the rest of the players continue to push them to the gallows without engaging. Same thing happened to Monkey in Costume Party.

And that's a wrap. Sad that not many of my roles actually saw much use but I hope people didn't have too much of a bad time.

Maolfunction definitely got a bit more scummy from d2 on but there were points in D1 where I completely forgot he was scum lol
It's how I play. I prefer rolling scum, so I usually like to look a little scummy both as town and scum so it's difficult to get rid of me based on that. This game it was also really easy to extend a bit, and push town towards bad wagons without catching blowback. There were several moments where I had long thinks about posting something because I was really sticking my neck out.

The only time I'll really town it up is if I have a town role that gets the most use for town if I'm night killed.

...can I smell you?
Stu has secret chat. It dies if he dies. Snifit invited Terra on night 1, me on night 2. Then Blarg confirmed me and Stu as town on day 3 which is why we believe him because that lines up a little too nicely. Launch was night 3. He’s supposedly a vig that gets his power when Terra dies. He can also only shoot people that Terra has voted for which is why he’s voting for a bunch of people. It’s one of the reasons I think Launch is town. If he’s scum it’s the most hilariously elaborate fake claim though.
Hilariously elaborate fake claims are the new meta.

I actually believed this when I said it!

We were playing pretty carefully, due in large part to Maol. I was more convinced that we didn't need the vig kill to win than I was about using one of Hawthorn's crazy abilities, though.

Don't break what's working was my guiding philosophy mid to late game, lol.

If I had realized we could kill and use Launch's ability in the same night, I would have done that N4 tho.
