He loves a scapegoat, Muffin. I don't want to keep going on about yesterday but he kept harping on with "I'm NEVER switching to Deva" and then went and did it. Wee scamp.
I've got this proper sinking feeling that Alexem is the cop. I don't know why. I think it was his post at the beginning of D3 suggesting that we lynch a "safe" scum (whomever he thinks that may be) today and then if someone can investigate or throw out any checks tomorrow they should. He then asked who the safe scum we should target should be. Seemed like he was trying to formulate a plan and was making a thinly veiled request for help. Or I'm going mad and just looking for anything now.

I am torn between suggesting we use the rope, which'll blow their minds, but leave us vulnerable if there does happen to be a regular cop (I think your assessment is correct but I'd hate to risk it) and the safer choice of the dagger for the ninja kill, as I think a watcher is not unlikely.

from my own experience I've noticed this community isn't very keen about Watchers. They're vastly more powerful than a Tracker is, so considering we only have that 1-shot Ninja I doubt it's the former and is most likely the latter of the two 'movement' watching roles. You're also right that it could be tied to the weapons somehow...though what that is can be anyone's guess at this point.
I doubt it's a direct 1-for-1 with investigating weapons though. If that's the case we'd only ever have 1 safe kill, the rest would always give us up.

I want our girl gang to get out alive and I figure they've certainly got more than a doctor. I'm just not sure what it is. Watchers may not be popular but they are possible, and a tracker maybe, if we've got a ninja kill. If it's linked to the weapons, that would give us three safe kills possibly, you know? To balance someone with a two or three shot ability.

so there's 3 of us and 7 of them currently. ASSUMING we can get down to 3 Scum and 5 Town ( which would actually be the next Day Phase at the start ) we have a potential for some really fun shenanigans involving the rope.
At the end of the next Day Phase, assuming all goes well and a townie is lynched, we'd sit at 3 Scum and 4 Town. Now, our win condition says we need MAJORITY at Day Start to win so we wouldn't win in a 3 Scum - 3 Town game since that's not majority. So what I'm proposing depending on how everything goes/if we get the green light, not this Night Phase but the FOLLOWING Night Phase we use the Delayed Kill.
Therefore instead of starting it at a 3 Scum - 3 Town Day Phase, we'd start at a 3 Scum and 4 Town Phase. We'd not only be able to hide better in that bigger number but Town may be a little less pressured than having it be a 3 - 3 split since, while it's not confirmed, the assumption of 3 Anti-Town players is the general consensus ( 2 Scum 1 Neutral or 3 Scum ). A feeling like having the bigger number helps.
This would also mean that when the lynch goes through 2 people die ( assuming our Delayed Kill doesn't get lynched ), hopefully two Townies, making the game 3 Scum and 2 Town. Meaning unless we couldn't NK and they killed one of us, we'd be guaranteed a victory.

You could also add in the dangerous fun of claiming a Roleblocker and you roleblocked a Townie after there was 'no NK' to try and ensure a good clean Townie Mislynch, but I'm typically not in favor of doing things to THAT level of extreme. It's very easy for it to backfire.

Think Deva but far less aggressive, a lot more gifs, and about 7 more roleclaims and trying to get people to play a board game to determine their alignment. All while he's using that to ACTUALLY scum hunt and prepare a case against you in multi-post bursts.
He's a blast to play with and a really cool guy but he almost always changes how he plays every single time he does. We could get a serious Blarg who Scum Hunts normally, a wacky Blarg who Scum Hunts in code, or a cross between the two.

it WOULD be fun but we'd have to hope there isn't an actual Town Roleblocker and you can't be too earnest with trying to lynch the 'fake' target since Town almost always gets nervous when that happens. It's easier to gauge it when the time comes so we'll cross that bridge when we get there but it's something worth thinking about.

When it comes to votes the best thing to do is to make sure it falls in line with whatever your in-game logic is. So if in-thread you're against Zook/LP/Rats, you vote whichever one of those you have the most to argue in favor of their lynch.
For Gotham, I do worry if you vote Zook a 3rd Day in a row and he flips Town it will look bad on you since you've stuck with him for soo long and have a disinterest in others. BUT, if you do flip off of Zook and on to someone else whoever that other person is needs to 'look way scummier' to you in-thread so people don't question it. There are a good amount of people who aren't questioning you at all despite your votes so maybe staying on Zook won't ever be an issue, it's hard to really tell.

I know you two are looking at it a bit differently, but honestly as long as one of us doesn't get lynched then it really doesn't matter which Townie bites it. As long as we can look Townie as we lynch them and save ourselves, we're fine. That means following your logic, not being blatant about saving people, etc. etc.
Remember, you are Town trying to find Scum. Not a Scummy trying to stay alive. Real Town is looking for the former, don't show them the latter.
